God, you got Sokka spot on! I hate that the series made older Sokka seem so stiff. I would love to see a more animated, but still mature, Sokka in the future episodes.

This is a really late reply, and I'm not even the artist.

But he may be more lively than what we saw. There was only one clip with him- and no one can be energized all the time (not even him). Plus, it was a very important council meeting/trial. He had to be serious. And in in the original series, he does try to be serious and mature when doing leaderly things.

Here, he's gotten better at that.

I'm sure he can still be a (cute) cornball on his own time.
